Preparing Symmetry: Early Access for Steam Release

August 2019

This month the Symmetry store page went live! The planned release date is set for 4th October 2019.

Norwich Gaming Festival 2019

May & June 2019

This was my 3rd time at the festival and another great opportunity to get feedback on both of my games.

Return to Symmetry

May 2019

With ASCENT: Crash Landing released, I now want to turn my focus back to Symmetry. This is a very different project, and one that is great fun to play with friends, as it features 2-4 player competitive split-screen. My aim is to release Symmetry as an Early Access title on Steam in October 2019.

New Level & Content

April & May 2019

In Spring 2019 I released an updated version of ASCENT: Crash Landing. This features a new level (Arctic Chasm), as well as an intro cutscene, graphics options and inventory of collectable items.

Preparing Beta for Steam Release

The release date is set for 9th November 2018.

ASCENT: Crash Landing

August 2018

In Summer 2018, I renamed my 3D platformer to ASCENT: Crash Landing. The idea is to have Crash Landing as the first part of an ASCENT trilogy.

Norwich Gaming Festival 2018

June 2018

I returned to the Norwich Gaming Festival in 2018. With a more developed ASCENT, and new game Symmetry, this was a great opportunity to get feedback on both!

2017 Trailer

A new trailer for the ASCENT Demo was released in September. This video showcases the gameplay I've worked on for the last one and a half years.

Hope you like it!

Norwich Gaming Festival 2017

June 2017

In June I got the chance to debut the demo of ASCENT at the Norwich Gaming Festival. This was a great opportunity to see how the game was received by the public, as only friends and family had playtested it before. Children and adults alike seemed to really enjoy it and all three days were a great experience. This was also a good way to see where the game could be improved. Thank you Norwich for the outstanding feedback. Can't wait for 2018's show!

Time for a Break

January 2017

At the start of 2017 I headed to Australia with my partner. We both had a brilliant time travelling there and made some great memories! It was nice having a break from game design and it definitely helped me see my game with a fresh pair of eyes upon return.

ASCENT Demo

March 2016

During the Spring of 2016, work finally commenced on creating the ASCENT Demo. After more than a year of ideas and concepts, it was time to bring the world I'd envisioned to life.

The Start of ASCENT

December 2014

It all started with this initial concept. I was looking to apply my design skills to something I had never attempted before: a game. Being a huge fan of platform games, combined with the lack of current releases of the genre, it was time to make my own!
